Me Nico

Scroll Down

As far back as I can remember, I have always loved this world. From concrete cities to the wildest biomes, beauty can always be found, you just need to know where to look. It's kind of like editing, you have to expose the radiance hidden within the raw.

I am someone that appreciates life for what it is: a collection of experiences, some good, some bad, but always real, that transform you into the best version of yourself.

Education

I feel very fortunate to have studied in free and creative spaces that have allowed me to develop a love of learning and critical thinking. Always being encouraged to explore my interests and pursue independent projects.

My initial formative years at Colegio Base, in Madrid, gave me a strong ethical and academic foundation with an emphasis in economics. Combined with a semester abroad in England and several summers in Seattle and Alaska, I have achieved a well-rounded education, with a solid command of the English language.

Overall, I feel that these diverse and unique academic experiences have deep-rooted in me a passion for lifelong learning, given me a particular sensibility and appreciation for our world and its communities, and have set a strong foundation to build upon.

Skills

Video Editing / Final Cut Pro

I have extensive experience in video editing using Final Cut Pro and Imovie. Having edited a variety of videos, including short films, promotional videos, and video essays, I have honed my ability to tell stories using visual and audio effects, creating specific moods or tones. It began as an amusement, back in high school, but has rapidly grown to become my passion and career aspiration.

Skills

Leadership & Team working

Even if I agree that this particular skill is pretty general and most people are quick to say that they possess it, I feel that I do have some background to back it up. During my wilderness adventure summers in Alaska I had to develop these skills, especially Leadership, since I had to guide many of my peers through difficult challenges.

From high school to university I have participated in multiple projects with different teams, and different languages, and have learnt how to cooperate with others and manage different views and perspectives.

Skills

Creativity & Communication

I like to think of myself as someone that enjoys communicating with others and is able to so effectively, whether it is with colleagues, or clients, I feel I understand where I am and who I am with.

When developing my projects, creativity has always been key, since I am a firm believer that creativity is the best vehicle to convey productively and connect with your audience.
